MISCELLANEOUS.

Śaka 1273, [Kha]ra, Bhādrapada, śu. puṇṇame, Wednesday, lunar eclipse. Irregular. The given tithi ended at ∙29 on Tuesday, September 6, A. D. 1351. There was no lunar eclipse on this day. The only lunar eclipse during the
year was in the month of Kārttika.

21

Śaka 988, Sarvadhārin, Phālguṇa, śu. pañchamī, aṅkrānti.
In Śaka 988, which was Parābhava (not Sarvadhāri) the details regularly corresponded to A. D. 1067, February 21, Wednesday ; ∙33. This was a day of Mīna-saṅkranti. Sarvadhārin is evidently a wrong citation.

33

Śaka 955, Śrīmukha, (month not given), ba. 2, Wednesday, Siddhi-yōga, Viśākhā. Probably A. D. 1033, March 21, Wednesday on which day tithi was rikta, nak ∙92.

25

(1) Śaka 1090 ……….. lunar eclipse, and
(2)        ….       …….. Āśvayuja, paurṇamāse, Thursday, lunar eclipse.
            (1) There were two lunar eclipses during Śaka 1090, one in Chaitra (A. D. 1168, March 25, Monday) and the other in Āśvina (A. D. 1168, September 18, Wednesday, f.d.t. ∙03).
            (2) A. D. 1168. September 19, Thursday, ∙03. The lunar eclipse occurred  on the previous day when paurṇimā commenced at ∙04 of the day.

10

Śaka 1362, Raudri, Bhādrapada, śu. 11, Tuesday = A. D. 1440, September 6, Tuesday ; f.d.t. ∙92.

22
