Details of dates with their English equivalent and remarks.

YADAVA.
Bhillamadēva.

36

Śaka 1112 (in chronogram), Sādhāraṇa, Śrāvaṇa, paurṇamāse, Thursday. Probably A. D. 1190, July 18, Wednesday ; ∙72. On this day there occurred a lunar eclipse, which is not quoted in the record. The week-day cited here is evidently a mistake.

49

3rd year (in words), Plavaṅga, Bhādrapada, amāvāsyā, solar eclipse, vyatīpāta, saṅkramaṇa. =A. D. 1187, September 4, Friday. There was a solar eclipse on this day. But the Kanyā-saṅkramaṇa had occurred on the previous Friday, August 28.

Jaitrapāladēva.

41

1[1]th year, Durmati Pushya, śu. 11, Monday, Vyatīpāta, Uttarāyaṇa-saṅ krānti. Irregular. In Durmati (Śaka 1123), Pushya, śu. 11 fell on Friday, December 7, A. D. 1201, and the Uttarāyaṅa-sankrānti occurred on Tuesday, December 25. In the previous year the tithi and the week-day combined on December 18, A. D. 1200, while the Uttarāyaṇa-saṇkrānti took place on the next Monday, i.e., December 25. In this case the cyclic year would be Raudra.

69

Śaka 1115, Pramādin, Māgha, Monday, Śivarātri =A. D. 1194, February 21, Monday ; ∙77.

Siṅghaṇadēva.

13

Śaka . . . 2, Śārvari, Jyēshṭha, śu. . . , Monday, solar eclipse
= A. D. 1240, May 7, Monday ; ∙59. There occurred a lunar eclipse (not solar) on this day. The month, however, was Nija-Vaiśākha and not Jyēshṭha as cited in the record.

20

Śaka 1148, Bya [ya], . . . .. . . . ba. amāvāsyā, Monday, saṅkramaṇa. In the given year saṅkramaṇa and amāvāsyā did not combine on Monday. The nearest equivalent would be. A. D. 1226, May, 26. Tuesday, on which day the Mithuna-saṅkrānti occurred and the Jyēshṭha-amāvāsyā commenced at ∙62 of the day.

39

Śaka 11[6]5, Śōbhakṛit, Āshāḍha, . . . . . . . . 1, Monday, Dakshiṇāyana-saṅkrānti, Vyatīpāta. Probably A. D. 1243, June 29, Monday ; ∙77. Dakshiṇāyana-saṅkranti had occurred on the previous Saturday─i.e., 27th June. The Śaka year was 1165 and the tithi was Āshāḍha, śu. 11.

Kannaradēva.

4

Śaka 1170 (in words), Kīlaka, Jyēshṭha, śu. paurṇamāse, Monday, lunar eclipse. Probably A. D. 1248, June 7, Sunday ; ∙82. There was a lunar eclipse on this day. The month was Nija-Jyēshṭha. The week-day cited in the record is evidently a mistake.

23

. . . . . . . Sādhāraṇa, Jyēshṭha, śu. [1]1, Monday, Uttarāyaṇa-saṅkranti. Probably A. D. 1249, May 24, Monday ; ∙11. Mithuna-saṅkranti (in Uttarā yaṇa) occurred the next day. The cyclic year was however, Saumya (not Sādhāraṇa).
