Refers to an interesting dispute about the gauḍike (office) of Bēḍage between two parties of Hommaruḍi, each claiming the gauḍike for itself. A committee representing prominent persons from several villages round about, met in the temple of god Hanumān at Bēḍage and decided about the gauḍike in favour of one party and took the signature of the other party that it would abide by this decision.
