	SRIVILLIPUTTUR TALUK
36	Iḷandirakoṇḍān.─A stone set up in the tank bed of the village.	..	….	Śārvari, Āni 17	Tamil	Records the provision made for the annual dredging of the tank Maruttuvanēri out of its fish income by Nāraṇadēva Mudaliyār, the agent of Vīrappa-Nāyakkarayyan-Kiṭṭaṇappa- Nāyakkarayyan.
37	Mūvaraivenrān.─Door jamb of the arakatavallī shrine, Tiruma- laikolundīśvara temple.	..	….	..	Do.	Opening lines lost. Seems to record a grant of land on kārān-mai tenure to ten Brāhmaṇas after fixing the rates of duty in kind payable by them. The tenure was to take effect from the 3+5th year of the reign of king Kulaśēkhara. There are three more fragmentary inscribed slabs built into the walls of this temple. One of these seems to refer to certain gifts made in the year opposite the 5th of a king (name lost) and to Karunilakkuḍināḍu while the other two mention names of certain individuals.

38	Śākkōṭṭai.─East wall, mahāmaṇ-ḍapa, proper right of entrance, Śēkharīśvara temple.	Pāṇḍya	Māravarman Tribhuvanachakra- vartin Śrīvallabhadēva.	4th year, Tai 7.	Do.	Registers a gift of land free of taxes by the assembly (ūr) of Śāyakkalūr situated in Perumbūr-nāḍu, a sub-division of Kēraḷasiṅga-valanāḍu, to Vīran Śirāṇḍān Ānandanāthar, an āchāri of the village for (having constructed) the tank and steps for the tirumañjanam (bathing ceremony) of god Vīraśē- kharīśvaramuḍaiyar.
39	Same place	Do.	Māravarman Tribhuvanachakra- vartin Kulaśēkharadēva.	4th year	Do.	States that Periyanāyan Alagan Gāṅgēyan granted a piece of land, after purchase, as kārāṇmai, free of taxes, to god Vīra- śēkariśvaramuḍiaya Mahādēva for the expenses of conducting the Maṇavāḷan-śandi.
40	Do.	..	….	8+1st year, Mār- gali 8.	Do.	Records the order (ōlai) of Gaṅgaiyan granting a field in Vīlśa- lūr for the expenses of worship and offerings to the deity, Vikrama-Vijaya-Piḷḷaiyār (i.e., Gaṇapati), set up by him.
41	Do.	..	….	Dundubhi, Paṅguni 7	Do.	States that aṭṭavaṇai Vīrapperumāḷ, granted to god Vīraśē- khara all the fields, etc., of the villages of Śāyakkaḷūr and Kaṇḍanūr for meeting the expenses of the festivals on days of Uttirāḍam.
42	Same wall, proper left of entrance	Pāṇḍya	Kulaśēkharadēva	18th year, Kanni, śu. 10, Monday; Tiruvōṇam= A. D. 1255, September 13, Monday; ∙02, ∙69.	Do.	Records that the assembly (ūr) of Śāyakkaḷūr sold the village of Mummuḍi-śōlan after making it free of taxes to the temple of Vīraśēkhara-Īśvaramuḍaiyār for a sum of 200 paṇam. This amount is stated to have been collected by the temple authorities by the sale of the ornaments of the god to one Adigaimāndēvar, a tiruvāśal-muḍali of the king’s household.
