Kannaḍa

States that Śrīgirinātha set up the lamp post for the merit of his parents, Siṅgana Gauḍa and Nāgasāni. In characters of about the 14th or 15th century.

Lead, round. Obverse : Hill of six (?) peaks, surmounted by crescent ; beneath, waved line. Legend : [Raño Gota]m- [i]putasa S[i]r[i]-Yaña-[Sātakanisa]. Reverse : Ujjain symbol, having each of the 4 orbs repres- ented by a pellet surrounded by two circles. Cf. ibid., Pl. VI, 139.
