137	Do. No. 7. From the Market square, Patan.	Do.	Do.	Do.	Do.	States that during the reign of Bābur qalandar, who conquered the earth as the sky does, one of his great nobles, the secondĀsaf, Amīr Bāqī, whose polity is the counsellor of the kingdom built this mosque and fort. Ends with prayer for the builder. Written by Faṭhu’llāḥ Muḥammad Ghūrī.

138	Do. No. 8. From Patan.	Tughluq	Ghiyāthu’d Dīn Tughluq Shāh	A. H. 722, Rabī’ II 10 = 1322 A.D., April 28.	Do.	States that during the reign of the king of seven climes. Ghiyā-thu’d Dīn wa’d Dunyā Tughluq Shāh who, like Alexander, subjugated countries with his mace and dagger, the mosque at Mahoba was constructed when Malik Tāju’d Duwal Aḥmad was the governor and that the door, walls and the courtyard of the mosque were also made up-to-date. The date is that of completion.

140	Do. East wall of the guard room, Delhi Gate.	Mughal	Bābur	A. H. 935, Rajab 11 = 1529 A.D. March 21.	Persian, Naskh	States that this dome (or tomb) of Shaikh Bābū Ḥājī Samad was built during the reign of the Mughal king Bābur and the governorship of Sultān ‘Ālam Lodī.
141	Do. Below the above	….	….	….	Persian, Naskh	Damaged. Most of the letters broken. Contains a fragment of verses invoking God’s pardon through the blessings of the twelve Imāms. The chronogram containing date, given also in figures, has worn out. Appears to be an epitaph.
