Persian Verse. Thulth

States that the fort wall  which had collapsed due to rains was reconstructed and made strong, during the time of ‘Abdu’lḤusain, the amīn. Written by ‘Abdu’l Aziz.

Persian, Nasta‘liq.

Probably relates to the construction of some tank or reservoir. Contains only the words ‘ a stream from Kauthar’ which also constitute the chronogram. Calligraphy same as in No. 51, below.

Contains the Muslim creed and the words ‘for the acquisition of merit by Ikhtiyār khān Gujarāthi’.

Fragmentary. After giving a religious text, records that (this was done) under the superintendence of Ikhtiyār khān Gujarātī.

Indistinct. Seems to mention Sayyid Afḍal, son of Sayyid Husain sharīf(?) inhabitant of Khitura dārūghā(?) under Aurangzeb. Purport not clear.

Word Allāh in a square formed by the prolonged shafts of letters of the words written on four sides, the later meaning, ‘Peace and salutations be on you, O Kalīm’.

Ornamental. A few words mostly correlative with the word‘Ilm have been inscribed with a plain circular border in such
a way that the elongated strokes of their letters have been interwoven to make a perfect geometrical design in the centre. Purport not clear.
