Stone standing near the siddaramesvara temple 13th century A.D.

This inscription, in characters of about the 13th century A.D., records the imprecation against the misappropriation of the gifts(?) made to the temple of Bhoganathya, Revanasiddha, Maliikarjuna, teleyakava-ramesvara, Brahmesvara and Mailaradeva.

This fragmentary record, in characters of about the 13th Century A.D., registers a gift of land and house-site to Barmayya, by Somayya, devotee of Kotisankaradeva, for the maintenance of a charity picotta.

This fragmentary record is in characters of about the 13th Century A. D.  It seems to register gifts of land, house-site and income from certain takes probably to the Sankaralinga temple.  The details are lost.

This fragmentary record, in characters of about the 13th Century A.D., refers to year 20.  It mentions the boundaries of a gift land.  It also registers a gift of land to god Panchalingadeva.  The details are lost.

Only a portion of the invocatory verses  at the beginning is preserved, the rest of the record being worn out.

Pillar in the Somesvara temple 13th-14th Century A. D.

This record which is engraved below No. 196, in characters of about the 13th-14th Century A.D., is dated in the cyclic year Sarvadhari, Magha, ba. 30, Saturday, Solar eclipse.  The details cannot be verified.

This inscription records a gift, at the instance of Pradhana Bakenayaka, of certain toll income by Immadi Singanayaka-Vodeya, Demarasa and Tipparasa, for the benefit of the Somanatha temple.

Stone standing in front of the hanuman temple A.D.1307

This record is dated saka 1229, plavanga, bhadrapadha, Amavasya, Monday corresponding to A.D. 1307, August 28, the month being adhika-bhadrapada.

This inscription records a gift of land to maprabhu Kesavadeva by Harideva raneya.

Slab lying in the field called Kadappanavara hola,

about three miles from the village A.D.1351

This damaged record is dated saka 1273, Khara, Bhadrapada  paurnaml  Wednesday, lunar eclipse. The tithi corresponding to A.D. 1351, September 6, when the weekday was Tuesday. The eclipse did not occur on the day.

The inscription seems to record a gift of land to god somanatha of Agra[kheda].

LAKSHMESVAR, SHIRHATTI TALUK, DHARWAR DISTRICT

Pillar near the southern entrance into the somesvara temple A.D.1392(?)

This record is dated in the cyclic year prajotpatti( prajapiti), phalbuna, ba.5, Thursday. On paleographical grounds, the record, may be assigned to the 14th century A.D. the intended date might be A.D. 1392 March 14.

The inscription record that Bhairavadeva, son of Kheyideva, who was a sevarent of Kumara Sivarama Ayya, renovated the southern gate (temkana darata), obviously of the somesvara temple.

LAKSHMESVAR, SHIRHATTI TALUK,DHARWAR DISTRICT

Right pillar at the eastern entrance into the somesvara temple A.D.1432

This record is dated saka 1354, virodhikrit, magha, ba.30, Monday, solar eclipse. The details are a little irregular. They correspond to A. D 1432, February 2. But the week-day was Saturday and the saka year current when there was a solar eclipse on that day.

The inscription records a gift of toll-income to the temple of  somanatha of purikara-nagara, by Aliya vitharasa at the instance of Aradhyadeva of ubhayamarga.
