Marula âSiddesvara, named after the Saiva preceptor Marulasidda who
had come to Huligere. The record is damaged towards the end.

su.1,Monday. The details regularly correspond to A.D.1538, April
29,if the saka year was 1460.
The
inscription registers a deed of settlement of dispute between the Jainas
headed by Samkhanacharya and Hemanacharya of the samkha-basit and
Kalahastideva and Sivaramadeva of the temple of Dakshina-Somesvaradeva
regarding the use of certain honours which had been
misappropriated by the Jainas for their deity.

of Sringeri, who passed away at Udugati on the above- mentioned
date. He also had a temple of siva built and made a gift of land at
hirebidare for the benefit of this temple.
