No. 441
(A. R. No. 323 of 1931-32)
NAKKABAṆḌA, (NEAR KUMARANATTAM) PUNGANUR TALUK, CHITTOOR
DISTRICT
Slab set up in the compound of the Jaṅgaṁmaṭha
1623 A.D.
This badly damaged record seems to register an endowment made
by Mummaḍi, Chikkarāya, son of Immaḍi Chikkarāya of Suguṭūru, to
his religious preceptor. The details of the grant cannot be made out.
It is dated the cyclic year Rudhirōdgāri, Jyēshṭha śu. 1[0],
[Wednesday]. On palaeographical grounds the record may be assigned
to the 17th century. in which case the details of date of the record
may probably correspond to 1623 A.D. May 28, Wednesday, f.d.t. 25.
