HATTYAṄGAḌI, COONDAPOOR TALUK, SOUTH KANARA DISTRICT

Slab (No. 4) set up in the prākāra of Lōkanāthēśvara temple

1591 A.D.

This registers a gift of land at Hosabeṭṭu in Guḷavāi village in Har-naḍu, by Baṅkiyarasa alias Hoṁneya-Kaṁbaḷi-voḍeya, to god Lkanathadeva of Haṭṭiyaṅgaḍi.

It is dated Śaka 1512, Vikṛiti, Māghu śu. 3, Monday corresponding to 1591 A.D., June 18.

1 ಸ್ವಸ್ತಿ ಶುಭಮಸ್ತು ನಮಸ್ತುಂಗ ಶಿರಶ್ಚುಂಬಿ ಚಂದ್ರಚಾಮರ ಚಾರವೇ ತ್ರಯಿಲೋಕ್ಯ

2 ನಗರಾರಂಭ ಮೂಲಸ್ತಂಭಾಯ ಶಂಭವೇ | ಸ್ವಸ್ತಿಶ್ರೀ ವಿಜಯೊಭ್ಯುದಯ
ಶಾಲಿವಾಹ –

3 ನ ಶಕವರುಶ 1512 ಸಂದು ಸಲುವ ವರ್ತಮಾನ ವಿಕ್ರುತಿ ಸಂವತ್ಸರದ
ಮಾಘ ಶು 3 ಚ –

4 ೦ದ್ರವಾರದಲೂ ಹಟ್ಟಿಯಂಗಡಿಯ ಲೋಕನಾಥದೇವರ ದಿವ್ಯಶ್ರೀಪಾದಪದ್ಮಂಗಳಿಗೆ
