1 ಬಹುಧಾನ್ಯ ಸಂವತ್ಸರದ ಭಾದ್ರಪದ ಬಹುಳ [8] ಲು ಶ್ರೀಮತು
ಹಟಿಂಅಗಡಿಯ ಲೋಕನಾತ ದೇವರ

2 ಭ[೦*] ಡರಕೆ ಬಂಕಿಯರಸರಾದ ಹೊಂನೆಯ ಕಂಬಳಿಯರ[ವೊ]ಡವಟು ದಂರ್ಮ
ಸಾಧನದ ಬಿಂನವತ್ತಳೆಯ ವಖ-

3 ಣೆಯ ಕ್ರಮವೆತ್ತೆಂದರೆ ನಂಮ ಹಾರುನಾಡ ಸೀಮೆಯ ಹಟಿಯ ಅಗಂಡಿಯಲು
ಅರಮನೆ ಗುಡೆ ಚತ್ತುಸೀಮೆ ವಿ-

4 ವರ ಮೂಡಲು ಯೆಲುಸವದನ ಗಡಿಯಿಂದ ಪಡುವಲು ತೆಂಕಲು ಲೋಕನಾಥ
ದೇವರ ದೇವಸದ ಗಡಿಯಿಂದಂ ಬಡಗಲು

5 ಪಡುವಲು ಕರುಚ್ಚರ ಬಳಿಯವರ ಬಕಿಟ್ಟಿತಿ ಗಡಿಯಿಂದಂ ಮೂಡಲು ಬಡಗಲು
ಅಂಬಳಿಯವರ ಗಡಿಯಿಂದಂ

6 ತೆಂಕಲು ಯಿಂತೀ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಗಡಿಯಿಂದೊಳಗೆ ಅರಮನೆಯ ಹಕ್ಕಲ ಗುಡೆಯನು
ದೇವರ ದೇವಸ್ವಕೆ ಧಾರೆಯ ನೆರೆದು ಕೊ-

7 ಟೆಉ ಯಿ ತಳವನು ಅಗುಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಳಚಿತ್ತೈಸುದಿ ಸಾರ್ರವ ಮಾನ್ಯೆತಳವನುಕೊಟ
ಧಾರ್ಮ್ಮಸಾದನದ ಬಿನ್ನವತಳಿ-

ḤATTIYAṄGAḌI, COONDAPOOR TALUK, SOUTH KANARA DISTRICT

Slab set up in prākāra of the Lokanāthēśvara temple

1578-79 A.D.

This record is dated the cyclic year Bahudhānya, Bhādrapada Kārttika, Saṅkarānti, As it is engraved on the same stone as No. 426 above and is in characters of the 16th century the year may be equated to 1578-79 A.D., and the details of date to 1578 A.D., November 29, which was the day of Saṅkrānti in Karthika.

It registers gift of land free from taxes to god Lōkanātha of the Haṭṭiyaṅgaḍi by Saṁkami, daughter of Bāurāutta who purchased the land and presented it to his daughter for that purpose.
