TIRUMALAREḌḌIPALLE, PUNGANUR TALUK, CHITTOR DISTRICT

Two pieces of a broken slab lying in the Ga?gamma shrine

1540 A.D.

This registers a gift of eight koḷaga of land to Mācha Ma[luga], son of Golapāpa by mahāmaṇḍalēśvara Timmarāja, son of Viruparāja, for supplying water in the water-shed maintained by him at the fair (saṅte) in Kadiri. The gift land was situated in Chemmūru which belonged to the nāyakatana of the donor.

It is dated Śaka 14[62], Śa[rvvari], śu 15, the name of the month not being clear. The year corresponds to 1540-41 A.D.
