TEXT OF INSCRIPTIONS

It registers an agreement defining the rights and privileges of Tuḷuvarasa alias Chauṭa of Puttige and the Aḷi-sāvira and Baḷi-sāvira on one side, and Vira-Narasiṁha Baṅga and his 5000 followers on the others. The agreement was arrived at through the arbitration of Vēdānanda-voḍeya, disciple of kṛisṇānanda-voḍeya and in the presence of Tirumalarasa alias Kinnika-heggaḍe-

TEXT

1 ನಮಸ್ತುಂಗ ಶಿರಸ್ತುಂಬಿ ಚಂದ್ರಚಾಮರ ಚಾರವೇ ತ್ರಯಿಲೋಕ್ಯನಗರಾರಂಭ
ಮೂಲಸ್ತಂ –

2 ಭಾಯ ಶಂಭವೇ ಸ್ವಸ್ತಿಶ್ರೀ ಜಯಾದ್ಭುದಯ ಶಾಲಿವಾಹನ ಶಕವರುಷ 1450ನೆ
ವರ್ತ್ತಮಾನ ವ್ಯವಹಾ

3 ರಿಕ ಸರ್ವ್ವಧಾರಿ ಸಂವತ್ಸರದ ವಯಿಶಾಖ ಬ 2 ಮಂ ಲು ಶ್ರೀಮತುಪುತ್ತಿಗೆಯಲು
ಬಾಳುವ ತುಳುವರಸ

4 ರಾದ ಚೌಟರು ಅಳಿಸಾವಿರ ಬಳಿಸಾವಿರದವರು ಬಂಗವಾಡಿಯಲಿ ಬಾಳುವ
ವೀರನರಸಿಂಹ ಬಂಗರಿಗೂ ಮೂಡ

5 ಪಡುವಣ ಅಯಿದುಸಾವಿರ ಆಳಿಗೂ ಕ್ರುಷ್ಣಾನಂದವೊಡೆಯರು ಅವರ ಶಿಷ್ಯ
ವೇದಾನಂದ ವೊಡೆಯರ

6 ಮಧ್ಯಸ್ತದಿಂದ ತಿರುಮಲರಸರಾದ ಕಂನಿಕ ಹೆಗ್ಗಡೆಯರ ಬರಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟ ಮುಂದಿಟ್ಟು
ಶಿಲಾಶಾಸನದ

7 ಕ್ರಮವೆಂತೆಂದರೆ ತುಬರಹಾದಿಯಲು ನೀಉ ನಿಂ ಮೂಡ ಪಡವಣ ಅಯಿದು
ಸಾವಿರಆಳು ಪಖ್ಖದಿಕ್ಕಿನ –

8 ವರು ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಮೂಡಣಿಂದ ಪಡುವದಾಂಟುವಾಗ ಪಡುವಣಿಂದ
ಮೂಡದಾಟುವಾಗ ನಾಉತುಬರ –

9 ಲು ಹಾಡಿಯಕಟ್ಟಿ ತಳುಪೆಉ ನೀಉ ಅಂಮೆಂಬಳದಲು ಕಾಳಗವನು ಕಾದಸಲ್ಲದು
ಬೇಡಕೋಟೆಗಾಱರನು ತಕ –

10 ಲಾಗದು ನಾಉ ಬಳಿನಾಡು ಮೂಱುನೆಲದಿಂದ ಮಂದಿಯನು ತಾರೆಉ ಕೊಪ್ಪರಿಗೆಯ
ಸ್ತಳಿಯಿನವಳಿ ದೇವರದೇ –

11 ವಸ್ವ ಸಿಂಗೇರಿವೊಡೆಯರ ಸಂಕೇತ ಆಸ್ತಳಉ ಪೂರ್ವ್ವವರ್ತ್ತಕ ಪೂರ್ವ್ವ
ಮರಿಯೊದೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಿರುಹ ಆ ಸಂ –

12 ಕೇತವಂನು ನಾಉ ಅಳಿಯೆಉ ನೀಉ ಅಳಿಯ ಸಲ್ಲದು ನಂಮ ಅಳಿಸಾವಿರ
ಬಳಿಸಾವಿರದವರನು ಪಖದಿಕ್ಕಿ –

13 ನವರನು ಕೊಡಿ ಕೊಂಡು ತೆಂಕಬಡಗಹೋಗೆ ನೀಉ ಹಾದಿಯ ಕಟ್ಟಿ ತಳುಪ
ಸಲ್ಲದು ಕೆರವನೆಯ -
