TEXT OF INSCRIPTIONS

KUDI, (No. 34) UDIPI TALUK, SOUTH KANARA DISTRICT

Slab standing near the temple of Dēvayya-seṭṭi Gōpālakrishṇadēva

1524 A.D.

This badly damaged record refers to the construction of a maṭha and a gift land to the same probably by Kōṭisāvanta Toḷaha and Saṇkama-heggaḍe. Details are all lost.

It is dated Śaka 1446, (1447 current), Tāraṇa śu. 13, Thursday, corresponding to 1524 A.D., July 13 when the week-day was Wednesday.
