HOSĀ ḶA, UDIPI TALUK, SOUTH KANARA DISTRICT

Broken slab lying in Puṭṭaṇṇayya’s garden at Chauḷikēri.

Circa 15th century

This badly damaged record registers a gift of land and money to god Gōpīnāthadēva. The details of the grant are all lost.

1 ಶ್ರೀಗಣಾಧಿಪತಯೇನಮಃ ಮತ್ತಂ ಕೋಟಿಯವೊಳಗೆ ಮೂಲದ ಬಾಳ ಚತುಸ್ಸೀಮೆಯ

2 (ಡು)ವಲು ತೆಂಕಲು ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿಯ ಗಡಿಯಿಂದಂ ಬಡಗಲು ಪಡುವಲು ಸಮುದ್ರದ
