HĒRĀḌI, UDIPI TALUK, SOUTH KANARA DISTRICT

Slab (No. 2) set up in the temple of janārdanadēva

Circa 15th century

This record is engraved on both sides of the slab the first side of which is badly damaged. The name of the king and of his subordinates are therefore lost. The extant portion refers to the year 75 the first two digits of which are lost. It registers gifts of land and money for offerings etc, in a temple and for feeding brāhmaṇas.
