26 ಹಾನೆಯಲಿ ಕೊಡಗೆಯ ಸಂಖರನಾರಾಯಣ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಅಮ್ರುತಪಡಿಗೆ . . . . .

27 ದಲಿ 10 ಮೂ ಅಕ್ಕಿಯನೂ ಕಾಲಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ನಡಸಿ ಬಹನು || [ಒ]೦ದು ಕಾಲ .

HĀNĒHAḶḶI, (same as Mūḍakēri), UDIPI TALUK,
SOUTH KANARA DISTRICT

Slab (No. 2) set up outside the west wall of the Sōmanātha temple

Dēvarāya II, 1440 A.D.

This badly damaged record is dated Śaka 13[62] (current), siddhārthi, Māgha śu. 1, Tuesday corresponding to 1440 A.D., January 5.

It refers to Chaṇḍarsa-oḍeya as the governor of Bārakūru-rājya, as also to the Śrīmaṭha of Bārakūru. It seems to record a gift of land and money income to a deity. Mentions is made of some seṭṭis. All details are lost.
