Tribh Rajarajadeva : Year 14, Dhanus (Margali)-su. 1, 

Uttiradam=1229 A. D., December 18.

This inscription records that a certain Kirandai Malaippagamvaittan (Skt. Harihara) Serikkuttan donated a sandhi lamp to the temples of Tiruvalakkoyiludaiyar of Tirukkachchur alias Nittavinodanallur in Sengunra-nadu in Kalatturk-kottam in Jayangondsola mandalam. The donor is stated to be a local person. It is also stated that in order to provide for this gift, he endowed three narpalankasu  which was received by the Sivabrahmana Umaiyodunkudaninran Uyyakkondan alias  Tiruchchirrambala-bhattan who had right to worship in the temple and who had undertaken to burn the sandhi lamp once daily.

Tribh Rajarajadeva III : Year 3, Makara (Tai) su, 4, Sunday, Mula : Irregular =c. 1218-19 A. D.

This inscription records the gift of two sandhya lamps to the temple of the god Tiruvalakkoyiludaiyar of Tirukkachchur occurring in No. 284 above, one by Kalaimalai-pagamvaittan Villavanalvan and another by Kalariyakkalattulan Orrikondan Irasarasadevan of the same village. A sum of 3 palankasu  to provide for burning of a lamp is stated to have been received by an owner of right of worship in the temple, the Sivabrahmana Alvan-devagal Suttan alias Narpattennayira-bhattan of Bharadvaja-gotra and another a sum of 3 palankasu for a similar purpose was received by Alumpiran Udaiyapillai alias Alaitani-bhattan and his younger brother Masakaipukkan of Kavusika (Kausika)-gotra who had agreed to carry out the object of the gift.

This inscription records a gift of a sandhya lamp to the same temple in the same place as in No. 286 above by Korran Korran Tiruvegambamudaiyan Selvappillai of Pillaippakkam alias Kaiyatavakaiytava-nallur in Maganur-nadu in Sengattuk-kottam in Jayangondasola-mandalam.  A Sivabrahmana who had the right of worship in the temple, named Alumpiran Udaiyapillai alias Sadasiva-bhattan of Kavusika (Kausika)-gotra received a sum of three palankasu and had agreed to burn the lamp.

This inscription records a gift of a sandhya lamp and three palankasu for it by Korran-Korran Tiruvegambamudaiyan Tulaiyadaselvan alias Anantapanman of Pillaippakkam alias Kaitava-Kaitavanallur in Maganur-nadu in Sengattuk-kottam, in Jayangondasola-mandalam, to the same deity of the same place as occurring in No. 291 above. The money of three kasu was accepted by the Sivabrahmana who had the right of worship

This inscription too is extremely fragmentary, and contains only its last few lines. It appears to refer to the gift of 5 palankasu for sandhi lamp (other details lost). The person who accepted the endowment is stated to be Devagal Sundaram alias Narpatter[nnayira-bhattam] (Cf.  No. 292 above.)

This inscription is very much damaged.  It appears to record a gift of land made by the king, to provide for all the services in the same temple and in the same place as occur in No. 307, etc., above.  A number of signatories, including Anapaya Muvendavelan, the tirumandira-ilai, are mentioned.

Tribh Rajarajadeva III : Year 17=1232-33 A.D. 

This inscription records a gift of a sandhi lamp and a sum of 3 palankasu for it, to the same in the same Tirukkachchur village by Perumperudaiyan Nambiyalvan of Mulangudi in Uyyakkonda-valanadu in Solamandalam. The money was accepted by the Sivabrahmana Devargal Sundaran alias Narpattennayira-bhattan of Bharadvaja-[gotra], who had right of worship in the temple, and who had agreed to carry out the object of the gift.

Tribh Rajarajadeva (III): Year 7=1222-23 A.D. 

This inscription records a gift of 20 kasu for burning a Nanda lamp using one ulakku of ghee in the temple of the god Tiruchchenneri-udaiyar of Tiruchcherai, by a certain Nittakalliyanamandai alias Tiruvilakkunambi of the same place. This gift was received, with an undertaking to burn the lamp, by the Sivabrahmanas Kamakayan Jayangondan Kunikkumpiran Madilan and Kasiyapan Tiruvaiyarudaiyan Paramaran.

Tribh Rajarajadeva (III) : Year [1]1=1226-27 A.D.

This inscription is damaged in some places. 

It records a gift of 25 kasu for burning a nanda lamp using one ulakku of ghee daily in the temple of the god Tiruchchenneri-udaiyar of Tiruchcherai alias Irajasundari-chaturvedimangalam, by an individual named Korraman Kottai Ganapatiyalvan of Karivedu, in [....] nadu, in Damar-kottam in Jayagondasola-mandalam.  It is stated that the gift was received with the undertaking to burn the lamp accordingly for ever, by the Sivabrahmanas of the temple, including Kamakayakan, Jayangondan Kunikkumpiran alias Narpattennayira-battan, Attirayan Sivapura [....] Alvan alias Anukka-nambi, Aritan

Periyan Ponnam balakkutta [.....] Gavutaman [...] Al[...]mbi and Attiraiyan Bhattan Karuvunayaka-bhattan.

East wall of the first prakara of the same temple.

Tribh Rajarajadeva III : Year 24+1, Mesha (Chittiral) ba. 8, Friday

Sravanam=1241 A. D., April 5.

This inscription is damaged in several places.

It records that the right of supplying lily garlands to the temple of Tirunalamudaiyar of Tirunalam in Vennadu in Uyyakkondar-valanadu, for daily use, and for festivals in the months of Margali and Vaikasi was there and that this arrangement was in the hands of a certain Tiruvilimilalai-udaiyar of Naganpadi from the 13th year in an unauthorised manner and this right was purchased from him, as he was not able to meet the demand. From the 17th year this right was assigned to [ . . . . ] Selvan alias Porkoyil Solappallavaraiyan and his younger brother Sendappillai alias Rajarajappallavaraiyan, who were temple florists. The Mahesvarars and the tanattar decided that they should supply 18,250 garlands per year at 50 garlands a day for daily worship; 44,000 garlands for the festival in the month of Margali and 77,660 garlands for the festival in the month of Vaikasi, all told 1,39,710 garlands. It is stated that the cost for this amounted to 12[2]00 kasu, and its equivalent in seed paddy was 511-1/4 kalam. It is stated that in order to provide for this, lands in the eastern section of Brahmadeyam Tirunallam were assigned to the two above mentioned florists who were also provided with houses. 

 At the end it is stated that in case of floods and drought and government confiscation, the quantities of the yields would be decided by the Mahesvaras and the tanattars and according to the decision, the number of garlands would be supplied by the florists.

Tirunedungalam, Lalgudi Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District

East wall of the Chandikesvara shrine in the temple.

Tribh Rajarajadeva (Rajaraja III): Year 4=1219-20 A.D.

This inscription is damaged much. 

It records a sale of land in Tirunedungalam alias Tiyagavallich-chatuppedimangalam, a Brammadesam, in Vadakavira-nadu in Pandikulasani-valanadu, by some bhattas ((name given) who were members of the sabhai of the place and by another bhatta of Perumarudur, to a certain Adiyarkal-idarkalaivan alias Anavaya-Muttaraiyar, the son of Vilambakkudaiyan Tillai Tirunattapperumal alias Visayalaiya Muttaraiyar of Vilambakkudi in the same nadu, for a sum of 5,000 Anradu Narkasu. 

It is stated that the individual belonging to Perumarudur got 1,600 kasu and the members of the sabhai of Tirunedungalam got 3,400 kasu.

Tribh Rajarajadeva III: Year 4=1219-20 A.D.

This inscription is damaged and incomplete. 

It records that linga called Ulaganadisvaram-udaiyar was set up in the first prakara of the temple of Tirunedungalam-udaiyar, for the merit of Vilambakudaiyan Tillai Tirunattapperumal alias Visaiyalaya Muttaraiyar of Vilambakudi in Pandikulasani-valandu, by his son Aludaiyapillaiyaradiyan Idarkalaivan alias Anapaymuttaraiyan.

It is further stated that permission to set up the linga was obtained by the donor from Tribhuvanaviradevar described as Periyadevar at his camp in the Irasarasa-mandapa at Urrattur.  It records that the donor made a gift of some land in Tiyagavallich-chatuppendimangalam purchased from its sabhai as kudinnga-devadanam, to provide for worship to the linga Ulaganadisvaram-udaiyar.  It is stated that the income of paddy at 30 kalam per veli was to be paid to the temple Sibandaram. 

Also records some other gifts to the priests to provide for clothes to the image of the deity.

South wall of the central shrine in the Valisvara temple.

(Rajaraja III) : Year 22=1237-38 A. D.

This inscription records an order of Akalankanadalvan addressed to the uravar of Turaiyur, granting lands 10 veli in extent in the village to provide for worship and repairs in the temple of the god Ulaguyyavandacholisvaramudaiya-nayanar built at Turaiyur by a certain Sembiyan Viratarayan of Vellur. It states that the uravar should carry out the object of the grant.

Tribh Konerinmaikodan (Rajaraja III) : Year 22=1237-38 A. D.

This inscription records a gift of land, by the king as tax-free devadana, in Turaiyur in Ira[ja]ra[ja]-valanadu to the temple of the god Ulaguyyavandacholisvaram-udaiyar built at the place by Sembiyan Viratarayan of Vellur. It is stated that the land belonged to the same donor. A number of officials figure as signatories.

North wall of the central shrine in the Cholesvara temple in the same village.

Tribh Konerinmaikodan (Rajaraja III) : Year 22=1237-338 A. D.

This inscription states that a certain Kurukularayan of Turaiyur in Rajaraja-valanadu, built a temple at the place and that on the advice of Kangaiyarayan, the king made some land in the place belonging to the builder of the temple, a tax-free devadana and a tirunamattukkani of the god. Four or Five officials figure as signatories.

Tribh Rajarjadeva III : Year 3, Mina (Panguni) ba. 11, Saturday,

Sadaiyam=1218 A. D., March 24, f.d.n. 07.

This inscription states that the urar of Turaiyur (on the bank of the river) Kil-Palaru in Pachchil-kurram in Rajaraja-valanadu, set up an image of the goddess of the Tirukkamakkottam named Nsllsnsyski and an image of Subrahmanyappillaiyar in the temple of the god Tiruvalisvaram-udaiya-nayanar at the village, and that they made a gift of land 7-3/8 ma in extent in the place in favour of these images, It is stated that had undertaken to pay the taxes due on the gift-land themselves. A number of men representing the ur figure as signatories.

This inscription records a gift of land as kudiningat-tiruvidaiyattam to the temple of the god Kodandaramaperumal. It is stated that a certain Malavadarayar received 8 veli, Viratarayar 5 veli and Vattarayar 6 veli totaling to 19 veli, not 20 veli as wrongly mentioned here.

Tribh Rajarjadeva III : Year 6, Mesha (Chittirai), ba. 5, Wednesday,

Mulam=1221 A. D. April 14.

The tithi ended on the previous day at 85 and the nakshatra ended at 36.

This inscription records a gift of tax-free land to provide for food-offerings in the temple of the god Klugirainayanar of Maganikudi (on the bank of the river) Kilpalaru in Pachchil-kurram in Vadakarai-Rajaraja-vala-nadu by Nerrikkan Madaiyan, one of the young sons (?) of Sri-Virasolisuradevar of the place. (Vide No. 752 above)

Tribh Rajendracholadeva III (?) : Year 11=1256-57 A.D.

This inscription is damaged in some places.

 It records a gift of crescent moon and diadem in gold and upper cloth as well as a bugle, a semakkalam and an eating plate in silver, by a certain  woman Kuttadu Nachchiyar, the wife of a certain sri Vanakovaraiyar of Karikkadu to the god Udaiyar Urkkunallar.

Tribh Kulottungacholadeva : Year 11+1st.

This inscription seems to be incomplete. It records a gift of a tax called kudikanam consisting of one kuruni and four nalis by the villagers of Vellanur in Vadaparisara-nadu to the goddess Perunkarunaichchelviyar of the Tirukkamakkottam  in the temple of Aludaiyar Avinasiyandar.

Slab built into the floor at the entrance into the Isvara temple in the same hamlet.

Kulottunga-choladeva : Year 6. 

This inscription is incomplete.  It narrates a hunting accident.  A certain Setti Perungadan, a palli of Manamai in Amur-nadu in Amur-kottam in Jayangondachola-mandalam, and another palli of the same place named Maran Advalan went hunting.

There, Settiperungadan shot an arrow at a virugam (a wild animal like a leopard).  The arrow, however, unfortunately hit Maran Advalan and caused his death.  Here the inscription stops.

Rajakesarivarman Tribh Kulottungacholadeva : Year 16. 

This inscription records a gift of a land called Kondali as tax-free devadana to the temple of the god Tiruppuli-bagavar of Sirringur, a Brahmadeya, in Kurukkaik-kurram in Maladu alias Jananatha-valnadu by a certain Muttirattan Gangaikondan Parasamaiyakolari who sold it to Bharadvaji Tirunilakantan Suryadevan and Kalidasan of the some place.  The sabhi of the place accepted the gift and agreed to pay all the taxes in respect of the land.

This inscription is damaged and incomplete.

It refers to a particular service rendered during festival days to the god Tiruvirkolamudaiyar of Kuvam alias Tiyagasamudranallur by the Irunganurkkilavars of the place.

This inscription to record a sale of land in connection with a certain consecration ceremony to some persons like Periyan Perayan of a certain nadu (not specified) by Palli-bhattan Solan alias Peringurp-perayan, a resident of Sirringur, a brahmadeya.
