The king Vīranārāyaṇa could not be the Kaḷachurya king Āhavamalla
who is known to have borne the biruda Vīranārāyaṇa, since his first year tell
in Vikārin, Saka 1102 (A.D. 1179-90). If he is identified with Bhillama’s
father Karṇa of the Yādava dynasty, the details would regularly correspond to
Monday, 19th October, A.D. 1187. |
