TEXT OF INSCRIPTIONS

SAṄKARABAṆḌA, PATTIKONDA TALUK, KURNOOL DISTRICT

Rock in front of a ruined shrine near the stream in the village.

This late record, dated the cyclic year Chitrabhanu, Vaisakha su 10, registers a gift of land by Aṅki-nayaka to Namavāḍa Timarasaya.

TAMARĀJAPALLE, (NEAR VANAMALADINNE), PUNGANUR TALUK, CHITTOOR DISTRICT

Rock to the south of the Ōṭiguṇṭa tank

This damaged record in late characters seems to refer to the construction of a tank and the grant of land to Tammarāya by Komarōbaḷi-nāyaka. Chidōja appears to have been the engraver of the record.

It is dated the cyclic yearBhāva, Vaiśākha śu. 15, details are insufficient for verification.
