4 [ಎ]ಳಂದೂರ ಪೂರ್ವಮಠದ ಕು-

5 . ಕಂಥಾ ಗುರುಮಲ್ಲಿಕಾರ್ಜುನದೇವ-

6 ರಿಗೆ ಸುಗುಟೂರ ಚಿಕ್ಕರಾಯ ತಂ-

7 ಮೆ ಗೌಡರ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆವಿಡಿದು ದ-

8 ಳವಾಯಿ ಅನೆಕಲ್ಲ ವೀರಗೌಡ-

9 ರು ಚದುಮಿನ ವಳಿತಕ ಸಲುವ

10 ವೀರಸಮುದ್ರವೆಂಬ ಗ್ರಾಮನು

11 ರಾಕ್ಷಸ ನಾಮ ಸಂವತ್ಸ ಆಶ್ವಿಜ

12 ಶು [ಡಿ] 10 ಲು ಮಹತ್ತಿಗೆ ಶಲವುಮಾ-

13 ಡಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟದಕೆ ಚಂದ್ರಸೂರ್ಯಾಧಿಗಳು

14 ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಯೀಲಿಂಗಮುದ್ರೆ ಶಾಸನಕೆ

15 ಆರು ತಪಿದರೂ ತಂಮ ಯಿ[ಷ್ಠ]

16 ದೈವಕೆ ವಿಷವನಿಕ್ಕಿದ ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೆ

17 ಹೋಹರು ತಪ್ಪದು . . . .

The record registers a gift of land as sanvamānya to Śarabhayya, son of Rāghappayya by Ja[mnagiri] Bāva, the guru of Hindurāya.

It is dated Śaka 1625, Subhānu, Vaiśākha śu. 12., Sunday corresponding to 1703 A.D., April, 16, Friday, f.d.t. 65.
