HATTIYAṄGAḌI, COONDAPOOR TALUK, SOUTH KANARA DISTRICT

Slab (No. 4) set up in prākāra of the Lokanāthēśvara temple

1579 A.D.

This registers a gift of land to god Lōkanātha of Haṭi-AÃ±gaḍi by the dē śa-samasta of Hāḍu-nāḍu for conducting the tuḍubina-utsava. The gift land, situated at Bāḷāḍi, was made over to the god through Rāmā- bhaṭṭa. Sēnabōva Kaseṭṭi wrote the record.

It is dated Śaka 1[5]02, Pramādhi, Vaiśākha ba. 10, Wednesday corresponding to 1579 A.D., May 20.

1 ಸ್ವಸ್ತಿ ನಮಸ್ತುಂಗ ಶಿರಸ್ತುಂಬಿ ಚಂದ್ರಚಾಮರ ಚಾರವೇ | ತಯಿಲೋಕ್ಯ-

2 ನಗರಾರಂಭ ಮೂಲಸ್ತಂಭಾಯ ಶಂಭವೇ | ಸ್ವಸ್ತಿ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಜೆಯಾದ್ಭುದ-

3 ಯ ಶಾಲಿವಾಹನ ಶಕವರುಶ 1[5]02 ನೆಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಧಿ ಸಂವತ್ಸರದ ವ-

4 ಯಿಶಾಖ ಬ 10 ಬುಧವಾರದಲೂ ಶ್ರೀಮತ್ತು ಹಟಿಅಂಗಡಿಯ ಲೋ-

5 ಕನಾಥದೇವರ ದಿವ್ಯಶ್ರೀಪಾದಪದ್ಮಂಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಾಡುನಾಡು ದೇಶಸಮಸ್ತರು ರಾ-

6 ಮಾಭಟ್ಟರ ಮುಂದಿಟ್ಟು ಶಾಂಷ್ಟಾಂಗವೆರಗಿ ಪೂಡವಂಟು ದೇವರ ಭಂಡಾರ-

7 ಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ದಾನಧಾರಾಪೂರ್ವಕದ ಧರ್ಮ ಸಾಧನದ ಪಟಿಯ ವಖಣಿಯ ಕ್ರಮ

8 ವೆಂತೆಂದರೆ ಲೋಕನಾಥದೇವರ ತುಡುಬಿನ ಉತ್ಸಹಕೆ ಕಯಿ[ಮ]ದ ಮುಂದಿನ

9 ಬಾಳಾಡಿಯ ಬೆಟಿನ ಬಾಳ ಚತುಸ್ಸೀಮೆಯ ವಿವರ ಮೂಡಲು ಕೆಂಚನೂರವರ

10 ಹೊಲನ ಯೆತ್ತಿದ ಅಗಳ ತೋಡಿಂದಂಪಡುವಲು ತೆಂಕಲು ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿಯಿಂದಂ ಬ-

11 ಡಗಲು ಪಡುವಲು ಕೆಂಚನೂರವರ ಬದುಲ ಗದ್ದೆಯ ಗಡಿಯಿಂದಂ ಮೂಡ-

12 ಲು ಬಡಗಲು ಕೆಂಚನೂರವರ ಗಡಿಯಿಂದಂ ತೆಂಕಲು ಯಿಂತೀ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಚತುಸ್ಸೀ-

13 ಮೆಯ ವೊಳಗಣ ಬಯಲು ಮು 10 ಮೆಕ್ಕಿ ಮು 4 ಮಕ್ಕಿ ಮು6 ಮತ್ತಂಬಯ-
