No. 544 of 1928-29) BAINDŪRU, COONDAPOOR TALUK, SOUTH KANARA DISTRICT Slab built into the well of a private house near the tank called Circa 15th Century This record registers a gift of land in Yeḍatore after purchase for feeding brahmaṇas in the maṭha built by him, by Viruseṭṭi, the younger brother of Bemmaṇseṭṭi. It is dated the cyclic year Vikṛita Chaitra śu. 1 the details being insufficient for verification in the absence of the mention of Śaka year and the weekday. TEXT
