13 ನಕೆ ಧಂರ್ಮ್ಮ ನಡವ ಗೇಣಿಯ ಅಕ್ಕಿಯ ತಳದ ವಿವರ [ಕೆ]೦ಮು

14 . . . ಳಗೆ ಮೂಡಲು ಬಯಲಿಂದ ಪಡುವಲು ತೆಂಕಬ-

15 [ಯ]ಲಿಂದ ಬಡಗಲು ಪಡುವ ಓಣಿಯಿಂದ ಮೂಡಲು ಬಡಗ

16 . . . ರಂಣನ ಬಾಗಿಲಗದೆಯಿಂದ ತೆಂಕಲು ಅ ಚತುಸೀಮೆ

17 . . ಳ ಗಣ ಬೆಟ್ಟುಬಯಲಲು ಕೋಟಿತ್ತಿಮರೆಂಬ ಗದೆ ಬಂ-

NĀRĀVI KARKALA TALUK, SOUTH KANARA DISTRICT

Slab set up in the prākāra of the Sūryanārayaṇasvāmin temple

1490 A.D.

This is dated Śaka 14[1]1, Saumya, Mīna 1, corresponding to 1490 A.D., February 25. The details given, however, are not verifiable.

It records a gift of land for offerings to god Sūryanārāyaṇadēva of Nārāvi by Kāmādēvi, mother of Maṇḍalika Sōmanātha Peṁnnaṁṇṇa-

1 ನಮಸ್ತುಂಗ ಶಿರಶ್ಚುಂಬಿ ಚಂದ್ರಚಾಮರ ಚಾರವೇ ತ್ರೈ –

2 ಲೋಕ್ಯ ನಗರಾರಂಭ ಮೂಲಸ್ತಂಭಾಯ ಶಂಭ –

3 ವೇ | ಸ್ವಸ್ತಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತು ಶಕವರುಷ 14[1]1 ನೆಯ ಸೌಮ್ಯ

4 ಸಂ | ಮೀನಮಾಸ ಪ್ರಥಮನೆಯಲು [ಶ್ರೀ]ಮಂಡಳಿಕ ಸೋ
