SIMANTŪRU, MANGALORE TALUK, SOUTH KANARA DISTRICT

Slab lying by the side of the well in the Brahmasthāna temple

(Dēvarāya 11,) 1443-44 A.D.

This badly damaged record dated Śaka 1[366] (current), Rudhirōdgāri corresponding to 1443-44 A.D., all other details being lost.

It refers to gift of lands probably to a temple, appears to be the village simantūru. Kōṭinātha sēnabōva appears to be recipient of the gift.
