Dēvarāya II, 1438 A.D

It registers a gift of land, after purchase from Nāraṇa-kaṇañja, for worship and offerings to god Śaṅkaranārāyaṇadēva of Koḍuge, by Toḷaha when Aṇṇappa-voḍeya was governing Bārakūru-rājya.

It is dated Śaka 1360, Piṅgala, Mā śu.5, Thursday. The letter Mā is an abbreviation for either the month of Mārgaśirsha or Māgha. In the given cyclic year the tithi corresponds regularly with the weekday only in the month of Māgha, which, therefore, may be taken as the month intended. The details correspond to 1438 A.D., January 30, the Śaka year being current.
