up in the temple by the Brahmachchakravartis.

the temple of the god Alagar (in the standing pose) at Tirumalirunjolai
in Kil Iraniyamutta-nadu, a sub-division of Pandiomandalam, during the
Virarajendran-sandhi named after the king.

Sangramanallur) in Karaivali-nadu, by a certain Alavandan Avinasi alias
Kachchiyarayan. It also records his gift of lands, to provide for
offerings to the same deity, at Kadarruralias Irasarasanallur in
Karaivali-nadu, purchased for certain specified amounts of money, in
avanach-yakki-palanchalagai coins.

It is incomplete and damaged. It refers to
the devastation caused to Karaivali-nadu during the kingâs invasion and
to the damages done to the temples in a number of places (in the nadu).
It records the gift made by the king of the village Irattaiyanpadi in
Vaikavi-nadu as a devadana to a number of temple including the temple of
Viracholisvaram-udaiyar, etc., probably of Kolumam, the temple of
Tirumarududaiyar of Kadarrur, etc., It is stated that this gift excludes
the devadanas, tiruvidaiyattam and manradu already existing in the
village and that the existing tenants would continue there and no tenant
from another village should be allowed to be tenant here.

It records a gift of paddy, made by the king. To provide food daily for
three ascetics (tapassiyar) of the Tiruttondattogaiyan-matham in the
Viracholan-tirumadaivilagam of the temple of Viracholisvaram-udaiyar in
Kolumam. It is stipulated that one tapassiyar would chant the Tirumurai
and offer worship to the deity and another would attend to the
preparation of the bed-chamber of the deity. The work allotted to the
third tapassiyar is not clear.

Viracholisvaramudaiyar. It appears that this done was enjoined to
render certain services to the god Viracholisvaramudaiyar.

asterism Bharani in the month of Chittirai for the merit of the king.

This inscription is damaged in some
places. It records a gift made by the king of the village of
Umaparamesvarinallur in Kavadikka-nadu as devadana together with its
existing tenants, to the goddess in the temple of
Viracholayis-varamudaiyar. It is stipulated that the various taxes,
paid in the form of kalanjus (gold coins) by the tenants of the gift
village, should be paid as the villages of the devadana Devanpadi did.
It is further stated that the taxes should revived and remitted to the
temple treasury by the temple tanattars (trustees) and not by the members
of the temple executive council.

records the undertaking given probably by the same person to feed
ascetics during the midday worship in the temple. With the help of the
amount of ten kalanju of god endowed by Arrurudaiyan
Tiruppurampiyamudaiyan.

suffering from diseases. It is stipulated that the servants of deity, on
receipt of the endowment, should measure out every Saturday the
specified quantity of oil at the shrine of the goddess.

This inscription records a gift of a grove
by Perumal alias Perumaltolan to the Melaittirumatham (the holy
monastery on the western side) of the temple of
Kulasekhara-Isvaramudaiyar in the village (name omitted). It is stated
that the gift was intended for a lamp and for providing vegetable dishes
on the said matham.
