States that the king while he had gone along with his queen to Rishikulyā-tīra from Hiṁgulā-kaṭaka on the occasion of a
lunar eclipse, granted to Vṛiddhikaraśarman, son of Madhu-
karaśarman and grandson of Jīvakaraśarman of the Parāśara
gōtra and Kāṇva śākha of the Yajurvēda, half the village of
Valigrāma situated in Varttanī-vishaya of Jhāḍa-khaṇḍa-
dēśa, free of taxes and inclusive of certain specified privileges.
