1 ಸ್ವಸ್ತಿ ಸಮಧಿಗತ ಪಞ್ಚಮಹಾಶಬ್ದ ಮಹಾ

2 ಪಲ್ಲವಾನ್ವಯಂ ಶ್ರೀಪ್ರಿಥುವೀವಲ್ಲಭಂ ಪಲ್ಲವ –

3 ಕುಳತಿಳಕನೇಕವಾಕ್ಯಂ ಕಾಂಚೀಪುರ ಪರಮೇಶ್ವ –

4 ರ ಶ್ರೀಮದಿಱಿವನೋಳಂಬ ನಾತನಮಗಂ ನನ್ನಿನೊ –

5 ಳಂಬ ನಾತನಮಗಂ ಪೊಳಲ್ ಚೋರದೇವಂ ನಾತನ

6 ಮಗಂ ವೀರಮಹೇಂದ್ರ ನಾತನ ಮಗಂ ಏಕವಾಕ್ಯ

7 ದೇವಂ ಆತನತಮ್ಮಂ ಇಱಿವ ನೊಳಂಬಂ [ಘ] –

8 ಟಿಯಂಕಕಾಱ ಪಲ್ಲವಾದಿತ್ಯಂ ಪ್ರಿಥುವೀ –

9 ರಾಜ್ಯಂಗೆಯ್ಯುತ್ತಂ ಪಱುವಿನಾಡ ವೆಂದುಱ –

10 ಪೊನ್ನಿಯೊಳಿೞ್ದು ಪುಲಿನಾಡ ಪೆರ್ಮ್ಮಾಡಿೞ

11 ಮಾಗರ ಬೀೞಾನೆಗಾವುಣ್ದ[ರ] ಮಗಂ ಬ –

12 ಸವಯ್ಯಂಗೆ ಪಲ್ಲವಾದಿತ್ಯ ನೊಳಂಬ ಗಾ –

13 ವುಣ್ದನೆಂದು ಪೆಸರ ದಯೆಗೆಯ್ದು ಪಟ್ಟಂ

14 ಗಟ್ಟಿ ಏಱಲ್ಕುದುರೆ ಕೊಡೆ ಅಡೆಪದ[ವಂಕೆ] ಕುಂ –

15 ಚಂತಳಿಗೆ ಕೀಳ್ಪಟ್ಟಲ್ ಅಡ್ಡಣೆಗೆ ಗದ್ದಿಗೆ ರಾ –

16 ಜಚಿನ್ನುಮಂ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಪುಲಿನಾಡ ನಗೆಕುಂಟೆ –

17 ಯಂ ಪಲ್ಲವಾದಿತ್ಯ ನೊಳಂಬಗಾವುಣ್ದಂ –

18 ಗೆ ಕೊಡಂಗೆಯಾಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಂ ಚಂದ್ರಾಕ್ಕಂ ¹

KANNELŪRU, JAMMALAMADUGU TALUK, CUDDAPAH DISTRICT

Stone lying in the backyard of the Śiva temple

Dhruva (?), circa 9th century

This damaged and incomplete record refer to Durggamar-Ereappa as governing the territory spread out from Nariyanūr to Kirudore when . . varsha was ruling the territory. The chief must be identical with Duggamāra Ereyappa, son of Śrīpurusha of the Gaṅga family, in which case the king has to be identified with Dhārāvarsha Dhruva. All other details of the record are lost.
