SUJERU, MANGALORE TALUK, SOUTH KANARA DISTRICT

Stone set up in a field called Dāsaṇṇa-gadde

[Dēvarāya II], 1440-41 A.D.

This badly damaged record is dated Śaka 1363 (current), Raudri, ba. 10, Sunday, the name of the month being lost. The year corresponds to 1440-41 A.D.

It seems to register a gift to a deity for burning a perpetual lamp. etc, and refers to a daṇṇāyaka. All details are lost.
