13       ಕೊಂಡುತೆತ್ತು ಬಹೆವಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ವ[ನು]ಗೆ ಸರ್ವಬಾಧಪರಿಹಾರವಾಗಿ ಅವರ
...........ಮಕ್ಕ –

14       ಳು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಸಿಸಾಂತ್ರವಾಗಿ ಸರ್ವಮಾಂನ್ಯದಲು ನಡಸಿ ಬಹಉ ಆನಾಲ್ವತ್ತುಮುಡೆ –

15       ಯ ಗದ್ದೆಯೊಳಗುಳ್ಳ ನಿಧಿನಿಕ್ಷೇಪಜಲ ಪಾಶಾಣ ಅಕ್ಷೀಣಿಆಗಾಮಿ ಸಿದ್ಧಸಾಧ್ಯಅಷ್ಟ –

16       ಭೋಗತೇಜ[ಸ್ವಾಂ]ಮ್ಯದಲು ಸುಖದಿಂ ಭೋಗಿಸುವರು ಯಿ ಧಂರ್ಮ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಆರೊಬ್ಬರು

17       ರು ಸೋಮಸೂರ್ಯ್ಯ ಗ್ರಹಣದಲು ವಾರಣಾಸಿಯಲು ಸಾವಿರದ ಯಿಂನೂಱು

HAMPI, HOSPET TALUK, BELLARY DISTRICT

Rock near a tank behind the temple of Prasanna-Āñjanēya in
Hēmakūṭa

..Harihara 11, 1398 A.D.

       This Sanskrit record, in Nāgarī characters, states that Virūpāksha- paṇḍita and Vināyaka-paṇḍita, sons of Gaṇapti-paṇḍita and Kamalāṁbā and grandsons of Rāghava-paṇḍita constructed a shrine along with a sukanāsa for the god Virūpāksha-Śrīpāda-Śrīvallabha, excavated a tank called Śrīvallabha-tīrtha to the left of the shrine and planted trees, etc. Both of them belonged to the Bhāradvāja-gōtra of Mādhyandina-śākha and the former of them is said to have been the author of thirteen works. The king is stated to have been ruling in Vijayanagara with his queen Viṭṭhaladēvī.

       The record is dated Śaka 1318, (also expressed by the chronogram siddhi-glau-guṇa-chaṁdra) Īśvara, Pushya ba. 8, Monday. The details given are irregular, for. in the cyclic year, corresponding with Śaka 1319, the tithi fell on Friday, January 11 of 1398, A.D. In the next year. i.e. Śaka 1320, Bahudhānya the tithi corresponded with 1398 A.D., December 30, Monday, f.d.t. .43.
