a slab built into the front wall of the house of Guracharya Panchamukhi
Harihara
II, 1379 A.D.
This
is dated Saka 1301, Siddharthi, Jyestha su. 15, Tuesday, lunar eclipse,
corresponding to 1379 A.D., May 31.
It
records a gift ofland in
Avvegeri to Hemadriyacharya of Yarigeri by the king.
The record is in Nagari characters, the language being Kannada.

a pillar in the Brahmadeva temple
[Devaraja
II], 1431 A.D.
This
is dated the cyclic year Virdohi, Pushya su.15, the Saka year being
lost. The name of the king,
who might be Devaraja II, is not fully preserved and the cyclic year may
be a mistake for Virdohikrit. In
that case the date of the inscription would be 1431 A.D., December 19.
It
records the renovation of the temple of Traimurti at Saividi in
Badavi-sime by Chavudaya-nayaka, son of Tipana-nayaka of Bagilavada.

a slab standing near the Haslara huts
Devaraya
II, 1433 A.D.
This
is dated Saka 1356, Pramadi, Karttika ba.10, the weekday being lost.
This corresponds to 1433 A.D., November 6.
The Saka year was current.
It
records an endowment made in favour of Narayanabhatta of Gujjadi, son of
Kesava, by Adhikari Sanne Nayaru in conjuction with the pontiff
Suresvara-Sripada and the people of the Bailur region for the exposition
of the Puranas every day in the temple of madakesavara and also
in the matha of the said teacher for thirty days in the month of
Sone (Sravana).

a broken slab lying in the Markandesvara temple
Devaraya

This
is dated Saka 1356, Pramadi, Karttika ba. 10, Sunday.
The details corresponds to 1433 A.D, November 6, the Saka year
being current. The weekday,
however, was Friday.
The
contents of the record are the same as in No.247 above.
This seems to be almost a copy of it.

On
a slab standing in a field
[Devaraya],
Circa 14th century A.D.
This
gives the genealogical account of the Vijayanagara kings, in the course
of which are mentioned Bukkaraya, Harihara, vijaya-bhupati and Devaraya.
It seems to record a gift to the god Ramachandra.
It also mentions the village Chittarige, situated in
Honnavura-desa, and the acharya Ramachandra-yastivara.
The inscription is badly damaged.

a slab lying in Surevy No. 414 on the way to Ugaragola
Krishnadevaraya,
1529 A.D.
This
is dated Saka 1451, Sarvadhari, Magha su. 7, Saturday, corresponding to
1529 A.D., January 16. The
Saka year was current.
It
refers to Vira-Narasinganayaka and the Durgadhipati of Toragale.
Toragale-venthe and Gummagola are mentioned.
The inscription is much damaged and the details are lost.

The
record registers a gift for offerings and lamp to the god Hanuman.

a slab built into the prakara wall of Viranarayana temple
Achyutaraya,
1539 A.D.
This
is dated Saka 1461. Vikari, Bhadrapada su. 12, Tuesday, corresponding to
1569 A.D., August 26.
It
records the gift of Anandanidhi to the Brahmanas, by the king in
the presence of the god Vithalesvara on the bank of the Tungabhadra.
It adds that the gift was recorded on stone in the presence of
the god Triyambaka of Gadagu.

This
is dated Saka 1461, Vikari, Bhadrapada su. 12, Tuesday, corresponding to
1539 A.D., August 26.
It
records the gift of Anandanidhi to the Brahmanas by the king, in
the presence of the god vithalesvara on the bank of the Tungabhadra.
It adds that the gift was recorded on the poet Kumara-Vyasa.

Amritesvara temple

This
is dated Saka 1461, Vikari, Bhadrapada su. 12, Tuesday, corresponding to
1539 A.D., August 26.
It
records the gift of Anandanidhi to the Brahmanas by the king in
the presence of the god Vithalesvara on the banks of the Tungabhadra.
It adds that the gift was recorded on stone in the presence of
the god Amritesvara of Annigere (Compare No.s 252 and 253 above).

The year fell in Saka 1469 in the reign of Sadasivaraya.
The date corresponds to 1547 A.D., June 27.
It
seems to record a gift to a barber.
The details cannot be made out, as the epigraph is damaged.

This
is dated Saka 1469, Plavanga, Ashadha su. 11, corresponding to 1547
A.D., June 28. It records the remission of taxes on barbers of the
Amminabhavi area in Haragale-sime, at the representation of Timmoja,
Kondoja and Bhadroja by Mahamandalesvara Srirangaraja and
Ramaraja.

is dated Saka 1469, Plavanga, Asvija su.2, Thursday, corresponding to
1547 A.D., September 15, Thursday, f.d.t. 10.
It
records the remission of taxes in favour of barbers represented by
Kondoja Timmoja and Bhadroja by Ramarajayya,
the karyakartta of the king.
Reference is made to Muguda Thirty and Kanchi in the
supplementary section.

records the remission of taxes on barbers by Ramaraja and Timmaraja, on
the representation made by Timmoja, Kondoja and Bhadroja.

approximately to 1547-48 A.D.
It
records the remission of taxes in favour of the barbers of Toragala-sime
by Ramaraya and Venkatadri. Kondoja and Sidoja of the community also
received some concessions.
