Mughal (Timurīd) Farrukhsiyar

Śaka 1637, Jaya, Vaisākha, ba. 14, Vṛishbha-saṅkrānti=1714 A.D., May 1. The saṅkrānti occurred on the 28th of the previous month.

Telugu and Persian (Nasta‘līq.)

Bilingual. The Telugu grant records that under the orders of the emperor Parukusaha Pādusaha (Farrukhsīyar) at Delhi, Śrīnivāsa Dāsa, the protégé of Todarmall, a deputy of the emperor, granted the village of Kīlapuliyaṅguḍi, Puttūr, Neduñjēri and Malayāmbuttu in Kāvanūr-sīma situated in Chēñji-prānta in Tiruvaḍi-rājya of Paḍaivīḍu-nāḍu to the temple of Varāhasvāmin of Śrimushṇam for conducting worship and festivals in the temple. Bhañja Śatrubhañja Tribhuvanakalaśa

Year 198 (apparently of the BhaumaKara era).

Registers a grant of the village Kōṅkaīrā in the Paśchimakhaṇḍa of the Ramalava vishaya to Bhaṭṭa Ajapāla (or Ᾱjapāla), son of Bhaṭṭa Nīlakaṇṭha and grandson of Bhaṭṭa Madhusūdana of the Maudgalya gōtra, Vājasanēya charaṇa and Mādhyandina śākhā on the occasion of a Vishu-saṅkrānti, which occurred on a Sunday when the nakshatra was Mṛigaśiras and the tithi the fifth, making the gift village a rent-free holding. Register a grant of the village Iṇḍēḍḍa in the Jīlōṇḍā vishaya of the Airāvaṭṭa maṇḍala to Kāyastha Yaśōdatta, son of Māhōla, a resident of Vaṇiggōtrā and the Sandhivigrahin of the king. The record is stated to have been composed by Yaśōdatta himself and engraved by Lōgayāka. Published in  Ep. Ind. Vol. XXIX. pp. 183 ff.

Records a grant of the village of Phāsitalā in Pōtā-vishaya by the king in favour of the Brāhmaṇas Kēśava and Apya of Loīsṛiṅgā, stipulating that the donees should pay annually 5 palas of silver as rent. Published in JPASB, Vol. I, 1905, pp. 12-13.

Issued from Vinītapura-kaṭaka. Records a grant by the king of a piece of rent-free land in Talakajja in the Sanūlā vishaya of Kōsala, to the Brāhmaṇa Kāmadēva of the Kāśyapa gōtra, a resident of Jalajaḍḍa in Kōsala. Published in JAS, Letters Vol. XIX, 1953, pp. 117 ff. and Plate.
