The Telugu grant records that under the orders of the emperor Parukusaha Pādusaha (Farrukhsīyar) at Delhi, Śrīnivāsa Dāsa, the protégé of Todarmall, a deputy of the emperor, granted the village of Kīlapuliyaṅguḍi, Puttūr, Neduñjēri and Malayāmbuttu in Kāvanūr-sīma situated in Chēñji-prānta in Tiruvaḍi-rājya of Paḍaivīḍu-nāḍu to the temple of Varāhasvāmin of Śrimushṇam for conducting worship and festivals in the temple.
