Jambunatha Temple-On The North Wall Of The Central Shrine

Raj. Tribh. Kulottunga (Iii) –3rd Year (A.D. 1135-36) 

This records a gift of 64 cows for burning two perpetual lamps in the temple of Tantonri-Aludaiyar at Sanbai alias Virarajendrapuram in Senkunra-nadu on the north bank of the Pennai river, by one Adiyanambi Kovalarayapperaiyan of Mudiyanur in Kilkonrai-nadu on the southern bank, as atonement demanded of him by the members of the Chitrameli community (of artisans or cultivators?) of the 79 andu, for having killed by accident a certain Ponparri-udaiyan Kunran sirudaiyan, a vellala resident of Valaivetti in their nadu (Senkurnra-nadu). The arrow shot by him at an animal probably in a hunt, is said to have missed its aim and pierced this Sirudaiyan instead.

Gramardhanatha Temple-On The Same Wall

Tribh. Kulottunga-Chola Ii-11th Year 

This records a gift of 60 kasu for burning a light during services in the temple of Urbagankondaruliya-Nayanar at Iraiyanaraiyur alias Solakerala-chaturvedi-mangalam by a lady by name Masarusodi Sani wife of Aritan Sankaranarayanan srikrishna-Bhattan. A Sivabrahmana of the temple was entrusted with the amount for this purpose.

Gramardhanatha Temple-On The Same Wall

Raj. Kulottunga-Chola (Ii) – 10th Year (A.D. 1142-43)

The date may be read as the 12th also. The inscription records an endowment of ¾ veli of land at Nallaraisur to the temple of Urudaiya-Paramesvarar by Kuttan Viman alias Jayangondasola Marayan a Kaikkola of the Uyyakkondan-terinda-Tirumanjanattar-velam, to provide for the feeding of pilgrims visiting the Place, with the rice offered to the god during the midday service.

Gramardhanatha Temple-On The Same Wall

Raj.Kulottunga-Choladeva (Ii)-12th Year (A.D. 1144-45) 

This records a gift of land at Nallaraisur and 45 kalam of paddy (in place of money?) by Rajasundari a devaradiyal of the temple of Tantonri-Mahadevar at Virarajendrapuram (Jambai) to provide for offerings to god Urudaiya-Paramesvara during the early morning service.

Siva Temple – On The East Wall Of The Mandapa In Front Of The Kripanatha Shrine.

Raj. Kulottunga  (Ii) – 10th Year (A.D. 1142-43).

The inscription has the introduction Pumevu valar etc. It records a gift of 32 cows for burning a perpetual lamp in the temple by Kampan alias Vikramasola-Periyaraiyan, a farmer kudippalli of Enrattur the eastern quarter of Sri Madhurantaka-chaturvedimangalam an independent village (taniyur) of Kalattur-kottam a division of Jayangondasola-mandalam. Tiruppanangadu was situated in Kaliyur-kottam of the same. mandalam.
