Muniyappan Temple-On A Rock Close By

Tribh. Kon. Sundara-Pandya-8th Year 

This records an order of the king making a tax-free grant of the village Vana-vamadevi in Elur-nadu a sub-division of Vadakongu to a surgical doctor, (anga Vaidya) by name Savarnan Parasrayan Adittadevan Tiruvambalapperumal of Nangur who had the title “Vaidya-puranadara”. This order is given effect to and executed in another inscription (No. 13 A.), engraved below, by the Sabha, the Nattar and nagarattar of Elur-nadu.

This is also probably an inscription of Sundara-pandya mentioned in No. 13 above. It registers the execution of an order issued to them by the king, by the Sabha, the nattar and the nagarattar of Elur-nadu, granting 1020 kuli of wetland free of taxes to a certain Sarvadevabhatta of Pasarrur.

This is an incomplete inscription. It registers the gift as tax-free devadana the village (,) Nariyar-ended for the requirements of offerings and unguents to god tantonri-Aludaiya-nayanar at Sanbai alias Virarajendrasolapuram in Vangappadi-nadu on the northern bank.
