Gramardhanatha Temple-On The North Wall Of

The Same (Third) Prakara.

Kampana-Udaiyar-Pramadi, (Kampa II) – A.D. 1373-74 

This records a gift of five cows to the temple of Urbagankondaruliya-Nayanar for the sacred panchagavya bath of the god by a certain Kalattinathan a son of Kachchiyarayar (or family ?) of Paruvur. 

Close to this is another inscription dated in the cyclic year Subhakrit (A.D. 13362-63?) Which records a gift of two pieces of land measuring together 550 kuli in extent, for a perpetual lamp in the temple, by one Tiruvegamba-mudaiyan Tirumudikkari of Sidevi village adjoining Sikkadu by order of Goppannaudaiyar.

Walls Of The Central Shrine.

Jammanna-Udaiyar Son Of Vira-Kampana (Kampa  II) – Ananda.

The cyclic year Ananda corresponds to A.D. 1374-75. The inscription records a sarvamanya gift of some land for burning a perpetual lamp in the temple by order of the ruler.

Ruined Siva Temple On Hill – On Three Loose Stones Lying Near The Central Shrine.

Jommanna-Udaiyar, Son Of Kumara Kampana Udaiyar (Kampa Ii)

 Saumya (=Saka 1291 – A.D. 1369-70)

This records the assignment of one Alagapperumal alias Sottaikkon for the maintenance of a perpetual lamp in the temple of Tirumadaipperudaiya-Nayabar at Eyil. This is signed at the end, among others, by Duvarapativelan probably the same person mentioned in No. 223 above.

Siva Temple – On The East And North Bases Of The Same Mandapa.

Kampana-Udaiyar (Kampa II) Son Of Bokkana (Bukka  II) – Saka 1291.

This is dated in Saumya, Kumbha, su. 7, Asvati corresponding to A.D. 1380, February 2, Saturday (not Wednesday). It records the appointment as tiruvilakkukkudi of three shepherd residents of the place for the daily supply of an alakku of ghee and 2 nali of milk each (with necessary endowments) for god Vidaiyinmelvaruvar and Adaiyil-Anbudaiyar in the temple at Tiruppanangadu by order of the king. The village is said to have formed part of Brahmadesapparru in Kalumala-nadu a division of Kaliyur-kottam in Jayangondasolamandalam. Mention is made of two officers of the king viz., Vittappar of Analgondi and Nambi-Alvar Tongarayar.

Siva Temple – On The North Wall Of The Same Mandapa

Kampana-Udaiyar (Kampa II) Son Of Bokkana-Udaiyar.

The date is given as Sadharana, Simha, ba. 5, Revati which would correspond to A.D. 1370, August 11. (Saka 1293 current). This records the assignment of three more families by order of the king for the supply of the same quantity of ghee and milk to the temple as mentioned in No. 248 above. Adaippattu Ilakkappar and Anaigundi Vittappar are mentioned here as the officers of the king who made the appointment.

Siva Temple – On The Same Wall.

Vira Kumara Kampana (Kampa II) – saka 1289 (wrong for 1290)

The details of the date are given as Kilaka, Avani 2[4], Simha, su. 5, Friday, Chitra which would correspond to A.D. 1368, August 18. It was Avani 21 not 24. The inscription records the appointment by the temple authorities of a certain Arya Bharadvaji-Mudali alias Vijayasingadeva of the Bodayana-sutra as supervisor of the affairs of the temple assigning to him a house for his residence.
