Jambunatha Temple-On The Same Wall
Achyutadeva-Maharaya-Saka 1455 (A.D. 1534)

The details of the date are given as Jaya, Chittirai 24, Saptami, Monday, pushya. (A.D. 1534, April 20. The saka year was 1456). The inscription records the appointment of a certain Senbagarayappichchar as general supervisor for getting some specified services performed in the temple of Tantonri-Aludaiya-nayanar by Mahamandalesvara Bhogaiyadeva-Maharaja, the Sthanattur of the temple, the Uravar and the Palapattadai-sirmaiyar. He was provided with a house to reside, some land and a portion of the offered food from the temple daily.

Jambunatha Temple-On The Wall Of The Wall

Achyutadeva-Maharaya-Saka 1544, Nanadana

(Mistake For Saka 1454=A.D. 1532-3) 

The details of  the date are given as Nanadana, Mithuna, su. 10. Hasta Monday corresponding to A.D. 1532, June 10. This tithi was su. 8 on this date. The inscription registers an undertaking given by the residents of Sanbai and the surrounding villag, comprising the Tanattur (Sthanikas), the Kaikkolas, the Settis and the members of the 98 castes of the Idangai and Valangai communities, to pay a contribution by impost of one panam from each big family and half a for the maintenance of a matha presided over by Kalatti-Andar Magadaimandala-Sivan disciple of Perumkarchula-Parvatammal Kattayar (?).  This is very probably the same matha mentioned in No. 101 above.

Jambunatha Temple-On The Same Wall

Achyutadeva-Saka 1552 (Wrong For 1454) 

The date is given as Nandana, Karkataka, su. 10, Monday, Rohini perhaps corresponding to A.D. 1532, September 9, but the month was Kanya.

This records an endowment, free of all taxes, of the village Akkaippadi in Meykunra-nadu alias Narippari-nadu in Magadai-manadalam on the southern bank of the Pennai for the requirement of worship and offerings during the service instituted in the name of the king in the temple of Tamtonri-Aludaiyanayinar at Sanbai, by Vaiyappa-Nayakkar.  Mention is made of the administration (of the division) by Venkatadri-Nayakkar.

The details of date are given as Nandana, Mithuna, su. 10, Svati, Wednesday Which correspond to A.D. 1532, June 12.This records the remission of the taxes jodi and sulavari on all the devadana lands on the banks of the Pennai belonging to the temple of Tantonri-Aludaiya-nayinar at Sambai alias Virarajendrasolapuram in Vanagoppadi-nadu for meeting the expenses of worship and repairs in the temple, on the representation made to the king by Vaiyappa-Nayakkar, during the administration of the region by Bommu-Nayakar of Velur.

Gramardhanatha Temple-On The Same Gopura, Left Of Entrance

Achyutadeva-Maharaja-Saka 1457 

The details of date are Manmatha, Mithuna, su. 3, Thursday, Magha (A.D. 1535; June3, the nakshatra was however Punarvasu).

This records an endowment of the village Siyamangalam for worship and other requirements to god Bhogisuramudaiya-Tambiranar in the temple of  Urbagankondaruliya-Nayanar at Iraivanaraiyur by Bhogaiyadeva-Maharaja under The orders of Salakayya Tirumalaiyadeva-Maharaja for the merit of the king.Bhogaiyadeva is given the titles Mahamandalesvara, Cholakula-tilaka and Uraiyur-Puravaradhisvara.  Salakam Tirumala is known to have been a brother-in-law of the king and his chief general.

Gramardhanatha Temple-On The Same Place

Archinda (Achyuta)Deva-Maharaya-Saka 1453 

The date is given as Khara, Dhanus, su.2, Sunday, Uttiradam (A.D. 1531. Decr.10).

This records is the grant of certain taxes by the Nattavar of the Twelve-Parrus of Iraivanaraiyur except that on the sale of horses (kudirai-kanikkai?)Amounting to 36 pan and 5 ¼ panam, from Kumili in Palangur-parru, for the Requirements of worship in the temple of Narasingamudaiya-Nayinar at Tiruk-Kovalur. Reference is made to the consecration of god Narasinga-Munaiyadaraiya Perumal in the temple. The gift is said to have been made by Kachchirayar on behalf of the Nattavar in the presence of Bhogaiyadeva-Maharaja.

The details of the date are given as Vilambi, Mesha, su. 11, Monday corresponding to A.D. 1538, April 8. The tithi was su. 10. This records an endowment made by the king of half of the village Vanpakkam with its annual income of 40 pon left as poliyuttu-ubayam with one Mudumbai Venkappar of Ichchambadi for meeting the daily expenses of an offering to god Tiruppanangadudaiya-Nayanar, Anbudaiya-Nayanar.

Siva Temple – On The Same Wall.

Achyutadeva-Maharaja – Saka 1453, Khara(A.D. 1530-31).

This records an order of (the chief) Bhogayadeva-Maharaja regranting the remission of the jodi amounting to 50 pon in favor of the temple of Tiruppanangadudaiyar, for the merit of the king, after obtaining the sanction of Tirumalaideva Maharaja. It is stated that this remission of the jodi tax had been already granted in the time of Krishnadeva-Maharaya, but was being held up by Vira Narasimharaya-Nayakkar even after his receipt of orders from (minister) Saluva Timmaya. This fact was now represented by the sthanikas of the temple to Tirumalaideva, while he was camping at Kanchipuram after capturing Vira-Narasimharaya-Nayakkar in the course of his campaign against Tiruvadi-rajya.
