Of these, Achyutappa-Nāyaka (No. 127) and Muttaḷagiri-Nāyaka (No. 128) are historical persons and may be identified respectively with the Tanjore Nāyaka ruler Achyutappa (A.D. 1580-1614) and Aḷagiri-Nāyaka, the brother of Chokkanātha of Madura who was the viceroy of Tanjore from A.D. 1674.
