1 In the Goharwa plates this verse occurs after : (v. 24 below), and therefore describes Karņa.
2 The Goharwa plates have - which Dr. Hultzsch proposed to change to -. Here the aksharas are clear except that the horizontal stroke in the square of the superscript sh has been obliterated. .
