nāyaka-viḷāgam in Tiruchchirrambalapaṭṭaṇam made
by Muppuchchundālvi, an aḍukkaḷaip-peṇḍu (maid-
servant of the royal household) for the maintenance
of persons supplying flowers to the god and goddess
and for conducting the maṭha built by her in the
street leading to Ediriliśōlan-tiruttōppu. This gift
was ratified, at the request of the donatrix, by a royal
order signed by the Secretary Rājē[ndraśōla]-
Mūvēndavēḷān. The land is said to have been
originally granted (tax-free) in the 7th year of the
king to a certain Gautaman Svāmikumāran Aruḷāḷa-
Bhaṭṭan alias Savarṇachakravarti of Uttamaśōla-
maṅgalam in Rājādhirāja-Vaḷanāḍu, from whose sons
the donatrix had purchased it. |
