Achyutarāya-Mahārāya

Śaka 1453, Khara, Vaiśākha, ba. 8, Tuesday.

Registers a grant of 50 māḍas made by Pōli-Re[ḍ*]ḍi and Basvi-Re[ḍ*]ḍi, sons of Kaṁnāṭi Tallapa-Re[ḍ*]ḍi Chinnapa-Re[ḍ*]ḍi for a perpetual lamp in the temple of Agastyēśvara, for the merit of their younger brother Aṁkaya. The gift amount was entrusted into the hands of the sthānikas with certain stipulations.

Damaged and fragmentary. Registers gifts of lands made  to several Brahmans belonging to various gōtras, sūtras and śākhās.

Śaka 1453, Khara, Vaiśākha, ba. 10 (wrong for 30), Monday.

Records the agreement arrived at by certain goldsmiths of Kamalāpuram and Chadipirāla, by which they distributed amongst themselves their rights and incomes (kāṇāchis and ōjarikas) of eleven specified villages. The agreement is attested to by several witnesses. (See No. 237 below.)

Registers the gift of some income derived from a few specified villages by 4 private individuals for the annual festival of god Agastēśvara.

Damaged. Registers the gift of 50 maruttus of land by Ammena-Peggaḍa whos (probably) renovated the temple which was originally erected by Agasti but had in course of time fallen into ruins. The characters belong to about the 11th  century A.D. Mentions Chadaparēvula. The inscription on the other side which appears to be also in verse, praises the value of Dharma and eulogises the charity of Ammena-Peggaḍa.

Slab set up in front of the Kāla-Bhaira vasvāmin shrine in the same temple.

Vīra-Narasiṅgarāya

Śaka 1464, Śubha kṛit, Āshāḍha., śu. 11.

Fragment. Registers a gift of 10 maruttus of dry land and one puṭṭi of paddy-field free from all  taxes. It was placed under the protection of the (community of) Thousand of (the village) Cheppali. The characters belong to about the 10th century A. D.

Slab set up near the dīpastambha out-side the temple of Agastyēśvara.

Damaged. Seems to register gift of tolls levied on cattle and horses, and taxes on marriages, festivals, etc., made by Sāḷuva Gōvindarāja, son of Rāchirāju of the Kauṇḍinya-gōtra and the Yajuś-śākhā for the worship of god Agastīśvara at Chadupurēla.

Śaka 1480, Piṅgaḷa, Āśvija, [śu.] 3.

Registers gift of land made by China-Avubhaḷarāja, son of China-Avubhaḷaraja and grandson of Mahāmaṇḍalēśvara Nandyēla Pede-Avubhaḷarāja of the Ātrēya-gōtra, Yajuśśākhā and Āpastamba-sūtra, or the worship of god Cheṁnakēśava at Śrībhāshyapura.

South wall of the Vēṇugōpālasvāmin temple in the same village.

Registers the gift of the village Chadupurēla as mānya to Peda [Chiṭṭa]yya, made by Peddayya Chaṁdramayya who is called ‘Bommalāṭa-rayitu’ and ‘Bommalāṭa-Amṛitakavi’for enacting screen dramas (tera-nāṭakam).
