280 West wall of same maṇḍapa . . . . . . Rudhirōgārin,    Āḍi 2. Tamil In characters of the 17th century A.D.  Records an order of Veṅkappar and the Nāṭṭavar  of  Pādūr granting land  in   the agaram of the village  for  the early  morning  worship  of god  Tiruvagattīṥvaram-uḍaiya-Nāyanār.
281 Boulder called Ānaikkal Rāshṭrakūṭa Kannaradēva 26th  year, Vriṥchika, [ba.] 3,  Wednesday,  mrigaṥiras. Do. Records the gift  of the village Urumūr by  the  king  to two groups  of  Bhaṭṭaputras  called  the Aiññūrruvar and the Munnūrruvar  of  the Sahasravar community.  In the body of the   inscription  is  cut in a small panel the figure of a cow with  its calf  tended by a man seated in front.
282 Another boulder in the same place Chōḷa Tribhuvanachakravartin  Kulōttuṅga-Chōḷadēva. 14th  year (in  words) Do. Incomplete. Mentions Pādūr in Tirumunaippāḍi Pādūr-nāḍu, a subdivision of Rājarāja-vaḷanāḍu.

283 Perdūru.—On a slab set  up  near  a field  called  Garaḍi  Kumbaḷagadde at Vāṇtyāla  (hamlet). Vijayanagara Bukka-Mahārāya  ‘ruling from Vijayanagara ’. Śaka 1328 (expired), 1329          (current), Vyaya,       Bhādrapada,   ṥu.       10, Vaḍḍavāra. Kannaḍa Records an endowment  of  land by the king to Pavrāṇika Kavi  Kṛishṇa-Bhaṭṭa  for the renovation and proper maintenance  of a library belonging to the maṭha at Śrīṅgēri, at the instance of the pontiff Śrī  Narasimha-Bhārati. Mentions Bāchappa of Gōve as governing Bārakūru-rājya.

Do. Records a gift of land made by Chandapa, the Governor of Bārakūra-Tuḷu-rājya under the orders of the king to Kavi Śaṅkara-Bhaṭṭa, son of Kavi Kṛishṇa-Bhaṭṭa of the maṭha at  Śriṅgēri.

285 Kāvundara.—Slab buried in the compound  of  the Urāḷan  of  Kāv.il-Dēvasvam. Chēra Kō Kōdai Kōdai 4th  year (in words) Vaṭṭeluttu Records gift of land by a certain Śēndan…. to the Mūttār and the Iḷaiyār  of  the  Kāvu, for lamps, worship and Śrībali in two temples.

286 Indyanūr.—Slab  in  front  of  the Śiva temple. . . Kō-Śrīvāḷarāma 4+4th  year Do. Characters seem to be of the 12th  century A.D.  Much damaged.   Mentions Indiyanūr.
287 SSame slab Chēra Kō Kōdai-Bavi 27  +  1st  year  (in Words). Do. Damaged.  Seems to record  a  gift  of  land  to  the  temple  at Indiyanūr.
