Registers gift of taxes on looms at Iraivānaraśūr, evidently to the temple, by Mutturāja, Īśurapaiyan, for the merit of Koṇḍama-Nāyaka Kṛishṇama-Nāyaka.
508 Mēlapāḷaiyam (hamlet of Elavānāśūr).— Slab lying in a dry land called Vārikollai. . . . . . . . . . Do. In characters of the 14th century A.D. Records the digging of the channel called Puttūr-kāl by Pānnaraṅganār one of the wives of Pallavan alias Rājanār[āya*]ṇa-Kāḍavarāyan.

Chōḷa Tribhuvanachakravartin Kulōttuṅga-Chōḷadēva ‘who was pleased to take Madura and the crowed head of the Pāṇḍya.’ 18th year (in words) Do. Registers gift of taxes on some dēvadāna lands by the agambaḍis of Vayaūr for five twilight lamps in the temple of Tirukkōṭīśvaram-Uḍaiyār at Peruvēḷūr alias Ediriliśōlanallūr in Uttamaśōla-vaḷanāḍu, a subdivision of Jayaṅgoṇḍaśōla-maṇḍalam.
510 East wall of the maṇḍapa in front of the same shrine. Do. Tribhuvanachakravartin Kulōttuṅga-Chōḷadēva. 21st year Kanni, śu. 10, Friday, Punarpūśam. Do. Registers gift of land by Śaṅkarajīyap-piḷḷai alias Śōlaṅgadēva, a sāmanta-mudali of Śambuvarāya, for offerings to the god.
511 South wall . . . . . . . Śaka 1298, Naḷa Do. Registers gift of land and house-site as Vēda-vṛitti to a certain Śaurirāja-Bhaṭṭa, by Dharaṇiäppar, brother of Gaṇḍaragūḷi Māraya, son of Mahāpradhāni Sōmappa-Daṇḍanāyaka. Peruvāḷūr is called Sōmappa-Daṇṇāyakachaturvēdimaṅgalam.
512 Do. Chōḷa Rājakēsarivarman alias Tribhuvanachakravartin Kulōttuṅga-Chōḷadēva.

Begins with the introduction Pūmēvu vaḷar etc. Registers gift of land and house-sites in Peruvēḷūr alias Ediriliśōlanallūr by Śeṅgēṇi Nālāyiravan Ammaiyappan alias Rājēndraśōla-Śambuvarāya, a Paḷḷi of Muññūr alias Rājanārāyaṇachaturvēdimaṅgalam in Ōymā-nāḍu alias Vijayarājēndravaḷanāḍu, a district of Jayaṅgoṇḍaśōla-maṇḍalam to twelve Brahmans, and for offerings and worship to the god Tirukkōṭīśvaram-Uḍaiyār consecrated by him in the village.

Registers an order given to a sthānika of the temple at Peruvēḷūr by Gaṇḍaragūḷi Māraya-Nāyaka, son of Sōmaya-Daṇṇāyaka, the Mahāpradhāni of Kampaṇa-Uḍaiyar, son of Vīra Bukkaṇa-Uḍaiyar, exempting from the payment of taxes, a portion of the lands given to the temple on the occasion of forming an agrahāra and certain dēvadāna lands in the year Sādhāraṇa in the name of his father Sōmaya-Daṇḍanāyāka, which was now separated and apportioned to a Bhaṭṭa evidently for service in the temple.
514 Two slabs set up in the compound of the same temple. . . . . . . . Śaka 1697 (wrong), Nandana, Māśi 29. Do. Refers to the repairs done to a shrine at Peruvēḷūr alias Ediriliśōlanallūr by a certain Rāguvayyan.
515 Gaṅgapuram.—South wall of the central shrine in the Varadarāja-Perumāḷ temple. Vijayanagara Kṛishṇadēva-Mahārāya. Śaka [1432], Pramōdūta, Kanni, śu. 11, Friday. Do. Registers gift of the village Gaṅgapuram by Kaṭṭiya Tāti-Nāyaka for offerings and worship to the god Gaṅgadēva-Perumāḷ at Gaṅgapuram in Aṇṇamaṅgalapparru, a subdivision of Śiṅgamporuda-vaḷanāḍu, in Palkunrak-kōṭṭam, a distrcit of Jayaṅgoṇḍaśōla-maṇḍalam for the merit of the king.
516 Outer wall of the gōpura of the same temple. . . . . . . . Dhātu, Āḍi 5. Do. Registers gift of the pulvari tax leviable on the shepherds by Tupākula Kishṭappa-Nāyaka, for a lamp in the temple.
517 Chittāmūr.—Base of the mānastambha in the Jaina temple. . . . . . . . Śaka 1500, Bahudhānya. Do. States that the mānastambha was the gift of Buśśeṭṭi, son of Bāyi-Śeṭṭi, a Vaiśya of Jagatāpi Gutti.
