Mr. G. Yazdani reads the inscription as ‘ Raudha Maulāna
Shaikh, Śalih Qādiriqaddas sirruhu’ and translates it as
‘ the mausoleuṁ of Maulāna shaikh, Ṣāliḥ, Qādiri, may
God sanctify his secret.’

to Mallaṇṇa son of Kāyaṇṇa, who died fighting with the
robbers that looted the Madhukēśvara temple, when
Maḷḷaṇṇa-Ayya, son of Chikkadēva-Oḍeya of Banavāse,
entitled Tribhuvana-Bharatāchārya, was administering
Banavāse-sthana and Mahāpradhāna Bayiche-Daṇṇāyaka was governing Gōve and Guttiya-Vēṇṭhe.
