The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered a case against Commissioner of Central Excise P K Ajwani for taking a bribe of Rs 60 lakh from a company.
Ajwani is Commissioner, Central Excise, Thane-II, Mumbai and Kota, Rajasthan. A CBI spokesman said that Ajwani had demanded a bribe of Rs 1.5 crore from Dying and Printing Mill of Vasai, Thane.
