Kidnappers holding seven foreign truck drivers hostage in Iraq
threatened to kill one of them on Friday if they received no response to their demands.
In a videotape given to foreign news organisations on Thursday, a masked man was pointing an M-16 automatic rifle at the head of an Indian hostage, who was wearing orange clothing.
The kidnappers did not say which hostage among the three Indians, three Kenyans and one Eygptian they were threatening to kill by 0700 hrs, IST on Friday.

jawans die in Manipur ambush: Manipuri insurgents ambushed an
Assam Rifles patrol this morning, killing three personnel. They also
looted sophisticated weapons in the Namthilok area of Ukhrul
district. Officials said well-armed insurgents exploded a
powerful bomb by using a rocket launcher when the 19th Assam Rifles
personnel were patrolling the area, 25 km north-east from Imphal.
