   India No. 2 Investor in Bavaria

  According to foreign trade and location marketing of German state of Bavaria Thies Claussen, India may soon assume the second largest foreign investor in the state known for technology and industry.
     
 

According to foreign trade and location marketing of German state of Bavaria Thies Claussen, India may soon assume the second largest foreign investor in the state known for technology and industry. While the U.S. and Japan have traditionally dominated the investment, over the last four years, India has been investing heavily in this region.

The Indian companies that have invested in Bavaria in 2006 include MindTree, Tech Mahindra, Quest and Sobha Renaissance which others like HCL, Reliance, Wipro, Satyam, Tatas have already been operational in this region for the four to five years.
