   Apollo Hospitals in Yemen

  The Apollo group of hospitals has signed an agreement with Hayel Saeed Anam group (HSA) to jointly run a USD 25 million super-specialty hospital at Taiz in Yemen by September this year.
     
 

The Apollo group of hospitals has signed an agreement with Hayel Saeed Anam group (HSA) to jointly run a USD 25 million super-specialty hospital at Taiz in Yemen by September this year.

HSA has diversified interests in oil, manufacturing, food processing, information technology, and trading. It is also setting up an oil refinery in Yemen in collaboration with Reliance Industries.

Apollo is a premium high-end hospital chain in India. Recently, it announced partnership with John Hopkins University to set up a research institute in Hyderabad to understand underlying reasons of heart disease among young Indians. It has also roped in nanotechnology centers such as the Institute of Immunology and Harvard University to work on this new campus.
