An additional 6 ships have arrived with .325 mmt of wheat and are being fumigated, quality checked, and berthed.
An additional 9 ships have set sail to India carrying .48mmt of wheat and 8 are scheduled to arrive by September end and another by October 9, 2006 . In April-May 2006, only 2 ships had delivered 92,000 mt and since then 11 ships with a total quantity of .562mmt have been offloaded.
Mainly agricultural India had ordered 2.83 mmt of wheat in controversial circumstances and terms.
